Over 55s Floating Support Service:

A team of Independent Living Officers committed to supporting customers to live independently in the community and make changes which improve their quality of life & well being.
Individuals & families can be supported with the following:
Setting up and / or managing the home
Managing age related difficulties including memory loss
Remaining independent within the home or accessing more suitable accomodation
Managing finances, completing benefit forms and budgeting advice
Taking part in training, education and paid or voluntary employment activities
Improving social networks, reducing loneliness
Increasing self confidence & self esteem
Accessing other specialist services
Meeting cultural & religious needs

Free, confidential & non-judgemental service is available to anyone living in the Borough of Newcastle under Lyme, whether they are an Aspire tenant or not.
Customers are supported through an agreed person centred plan which can be reviewed at any time. The independant living officer and customer work together to reach agreed goals.
